Would you fall in love with me again,
Knowing all the scars upon my skin;
Each mark a chapter, each story untold,
Of trials faced, of pain I've grown old.
Would you fall, given the weight I bear,
The ghosts that linger, the shadows that stare;
The lonely nights, the tears shed in grief,
The person I've become, wracked with relief.
I've waited years for a love to see,
Not just the mask I wear, but the soul within me;
To understand my scars are not my whole,
But just a part of the woman I've grown to know.
Would you fall, and never let go,
Embracing the good with the bad as it flows;
Because I'd rather be a ghost, lost and forgotten,
Than to lose you, the love that's made my heart sing and eaten.
This bond we share is more than love, it's eternal,
A connection so strong, it's hard to fathom or believe it;
It's a choice, a vow, a promise to hold tight,
To never let go, and face the darkness of night.
So would you fall, again and again,
Through the storms and the sunshine, this love will remain;
Knowing all of me, yet still choosing to stay,
Together, we'll weather the world's fray.
For with you, my love, I am complete,
With you, my heart finds a home, a place to retreat;
So fall with me, let our love guide the way,
And together, we'll face each new dawn, a brighter day.
