THE NOISE OF POETS…
The noise of drunken steps
On endless night roads
Echoes through lines of poetry
Like wooden clogs on a cell floor.
Later, the sweepers
Cast them into bins,
Trample and sweep them away,
But they cannot kill them—
These maddened steps of love.
