Little angel, hold your head up high.
Your wings are beautiful— not everyone can fly.
Your face is pure with a halo’s shine.
Darling, don’t look at yourself and think of changing something made by the Most High.
White silk, a golden glow, a voice as smooth as honey’s flow.
Little angel, don’t ever think you’re not worthy,
Because you hold the worth of everything.
Little angel, just keep breathing.
You’ll be home soon, but until then I know you’ll be okay.
Angel, don’t cry. You’re worthy of life—don’t doubt it or throw it away.
Little angel, you are so dear to me.
Little angel, hold your head up high.
