I'm going to change my visions view,
change my reflections point of me to you.
Join a vision a view a weapon I'll hold,
grow to be brave to be a man I'll be bold.
Uniform my vision my view for you,
change my reflection and hide what's true.
I'll leave you for the missions show,
I'll change my view up and then I'll go.
This thing I'm going to do to my view,
to get away from where I grew.
Yes, I'll have to leave your side,
I'll stay till I retire or till I've died.
Soon I'll go learn how to be a uniformed man,
the choice I made because it's my escape plan.
Out of this town I am going to leave,
it's the only way my future can breathe.

Sometimes leaving is the best way to deal with the problem. A most interesting poem that seems to postpone the leaving for a while
yes smart people settle things before they leave. Also, it takes forever to get in the Military in Canada so yes the feel is right.
Leaving unfinished business is a cowardly action
