Nordic Mountains: ( January 10th, 2023)

Dominic Windram

As another winter day slowly awakens,

I am witness to the beauty of the mountains:

Embellished by hues of white and gold. Sunlight climbs

The shoulders of their peaks. It reveals their rich signs

And symbols, as ancient faces, stand tall and bold.

I see a masterpiece that stirs my heart and soul.

The whispering pines reach upwards towards the sky.

Their frosted pines offer a glimpse of the sublime.

Any danger of those houses being eroded into the sea?
