Space to breathe

Nicole Pritchard

Letting go, not because I didn’t care,

But to set myself free, to breathe, to dare.

Being who I’m meant to be, wild and true,

Untangling threads of past, to make space for new.

Releasing mistakes, and the hurts that linger,

Not because they’re forgotten, but my heart's a singer

Of a new tune – one of growth, of space, of play,

Clearing clutter for adventures that lead me to stay.

Who am I, beneath the layers, the stories, the shields?

A mystery unfolding, a path that my soul yields.

I step into the unknown, curious, alive,

Meeting the self I’ve yet to meet, where love and dreams thrive.

In the space to breathe, I let go of the weight,

Of unknowns that anchor me, I choose to feel light.

No extra pressure, just the joy of being me,

Embracing the journey, wild and effortlessly free.
