It Doesn’t Work

GenXer Shamrocker ☘️

I’ve been too skinny and too thick I’ve been short and some what tall. Still I was never accepted by all. I’ve had short hair and long hair; some colors I’ve tried. Still I wasn’t seen quite right. I’ve had good days and bad days and tried doing it all on my own. One thing I’ve learned is it doesn’t quite work. I have failed in many areas I’m not proud to admit. But it’s in that admission where I find I am His. I’ve lost and I’ve won; felt hopeless and unsure; nothing in life works without Him is the message I’ve learned. Life is not made for humans to hurry up on to the next big thing; His word says we are made for nature, laughter, and connection. Dealing with life alone and in our own strength or our way; only hinders our growth and causes much delay. We will never be accepted by all; but I can assure you you are accepted by Him once you repent and answer His call.

Another good poem of faith and belief. Relying on a God to carry one through. Nicely composed

I connect with the recognition that doing everything alone only takes us so far. The way you frame acceptance as something received, not earned, feels grounded and sincere. Well done, my friend! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
