Help me, what am I to do?
Apart from you I am nothing..
Dust to dust, this is the truth.
Your breath, it is Spirit, your breath, it is life...
Let me be accepted, let me be your delight!
Treasures stolen: is this my defeat?
Does temptation seduce?
Dont let me wander, let me sit at your feet...
'Where your treasure is, your heart will be too.'
Condemnation: I am not proud.
You humble nations; evil flees: it returns to the ground..
More than a conquer: your Spirit, it reigns.
Must I retreat? Will my joy turn to pain?
Torn between two lovers; only one is true.
Let my love be perfect, and all I do, be for you.

A poem of submission and a plea for subservience in a relationship. Bound by passion, enamored and chained by a love unrequited one turns to the master with a plea for mercy. Heart felt a good write
ValiantStar, this reads like a soul wrestling and refusing to give up. Humility, longing, and trust move together without shortcuts. Itβs earnest, grounded, and powerfully human. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
