Friendship

Sami Mulaj

FRIENDSHIP

We keep two houses, one yard,

No fences, no gate.

We rejoice in who gets more sun,

Running together through meadows,

Leaving no stones or boundaries.

We await the rain without sorrow,

Bringing fruits in every season,

For you and me,

In winter and summer.

For tomorrow, oh for tomorrow...

It is not like bread,

We have left nothing behind.

You have shown in your images what is friendship a sharing of space and no fences. So metaphoric it needs no explanation and sets out the idea that as friends we share the land, weather and time itself. A fave
