Cicada Asks a Favor

Mutley Ravishes

Cicada

Asked a favor

Of Nightjar

"Can you write some lyrics

For my song?"

"Ok. Imagination is stron-

-ger than the will"

Cicada cried

"That's not very long!"

"Neither is your song"

Replied Nightjar

"How about singing it

Like a mantra

Instead?"

Lovely the cicada's mantra is not that long although their life is. Loved the way you put nature in personified form into a clever verse of song and incorporated time this one is a fave

Mutley, this reads like a fable for makers. Imagination over will, brevity over excess, and song becoming ritual instead of performance. Witty, economical, and instructive in the best way. Love it, my friend.🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Thanks a million. I learned the hard way about the limitations of the will!
