A caged canary saw her maiden cry
Who kept her wings from flapping in the sky
She was young and pretty but her wage wasn't high
She often danced in the spring embracing her self in a lie
The bird often wondered who was miserable you and I
As they both sat in between singing to the love of their lives

A clever write on perspectives and the issue of who is the imprisoned one and which is the happy one. Well done
