Ableism

gray0328

the world builds ramps for stairs

but not for hearts and minds

they see bodies and assume limitations

never stopping to ask or learn

you are not unseen but ignored

your worth dissected like a fault

as if pain makes you less human

as if struggle is not strength

their pity falls sharp like arrows

you do not need their saving

you are survival dressed in light

resilient even in their shadows

this world wasn’t built for everyone

but still, you move through it

teaching grace in each forward step

showing courage is its own language
