Silent Prayers

RSM0812

The calming wind and the pedal of a rose,

Stalling found, the whisper and the echoed.

Breath the clouds, across the sky they go,

Seen through the stained glass mirrored window.

Then to peace, our silent prayers,

Delivered through the golden stairs,

Step up to doors, closed with truth,

As the sleepy lamb does sooth.

Across the desert, sand and grain,

An oasis, stands the suns hot pain.

And stars of midnight, dark and black.

Wondering into the long way back.

See with eyes, opened anew.

The path sublime, the answer true.

A most peaceful poem that calls out to the reader through natures images to rest in a calm and serene place.
