Crossing the river

Sami Mulaj

CROSSING THE RIVER

(Erotic humor)

As they were crossing the river,

The man said to his wife,

Im too tired to undress,

Carry me to the bank.

Without hesitation,

She carried him on her back.

In the middle of the ford,

The man took a small stone

From his pocket

And threw it into the water.

What fell?

The wife asked.

One of my balls,

The man replied.

Take care of the other,

My husband.

Ah, alas,

The other one fell

Beyond the bank.

Its okay, just guard

The family jewels with utmost care,

Were almost to the bank.

Before they reached the shore,

The man took out another stone

And threw it into the water.

What fell now?

The wife asked again.

Alas, the family jewels fell,

Oh my wife, alas.

Now what use are you to me,

Without your family jewels, you wretch.

And she threw him immediately

Into the deepest well.

Well....well we know where the value lay and why they call them the family jewels.
