Observer

MatPie

When I was younger than the trees

I have missed everything

And now older yet wiser

I still have missed everything

What has happen now?

People say changes is coming

But I haven't seen it with my eyes

Am I missing something?

Everybody is running out

But I haven't seen a damn thing!

Am I missing something?

Oh yes, I am missing something

Strangers behind my back

A loud boom around the world

Pointing gestures and pointing guns

The world is crumbling apart

Figures behind my eyes

News flashing in my nightmares

Blood splashing like a smashed pumpkin

Hair strands of a dead strangled girl

The clouds are turning, turning, turning

Nights no longer hold any colors

Mornings no longer have any birds

Sleep is no longer an option

Oh yes, I have missed something

And I can't help but turn back

From all of this.
