At the other side of the planet
When noises are truth-tellers
Bombarded doors and broken eyes
At the other side of the planet
Where violence has been the answer
Please beware they are only there
To crush on whatever they step on
Pickpocket whatever they can reach
And time and time again, you'll see
All you've done has been stolen away
Who will hear what you'll say?
When they have tear up your mouth
With the tears of your soul?
And the ghosts are scared
Watching the terror behind their eyes
And they whisper to the wild winds
The secrets of the past lives
Before escaping to the trees and the forests
Where the hills are greener than
Whatever that side was.
And the people doesn't have anywhere
To go except where they've stayed
And be stomped by whatever that is.
Whatever we don't know.
Whatever we must know.
To pick up their shoes and shout.

As I read this it seems that we all have been scared by the bogyman created out of an us verses them attitude. Better to face the enemy we know than the one we don't know. Those that hide under the bed, in the shadows, our closet. Well written
