Everything’s gonna be alright, as long as I keep my head up
Its alright no matter which way it ends up.
I'll keep my hands close to my chest
Wishing for the best and when I get there
That it was all worth
The fear, the worry, the growth.
We can't know until we're tested
for some of the toughest things in life
leading to an unknown road,
we often wonder what it's like.
From what I can tell you,
It's anything but; an easy ride.
I close my eyes, often, trying to hide.
It's all smoke and mirrors until it's over
But over, I don’t want it to be.
Wrestle with my conscious, constantly while I sleep
praying to the universe, that I’ll keep.
Trivial pursuits seem even more meaningless now.
I can't unsee what I have saw,
I cannot undo the sown crop.
What will become of me, on the other side, I am hoping to meet.
