An Apology

Dev Parth

I regret the gesture I made that day,
It spoke where silence should have stayed.
Without intent, yet clearly wrong,
It crossed the line of what’s polite.

I understand now how it appeared,
And why it caused discomfort and pain.
What felt small in the moment’s rush
Left an impression I should not have made.

I offer this apology with full respect,
Owning my mistake without defense.
There was no meaning meant beyond harm,
Only a lapse in judgment and sense.

Please know I have reflected deeply,
And learned from what I failed to see.
I promise more care in word and action,
And greater respect in all that’s done by me.

Well .. we all make mistakes . Sometimes we upset people without even meaning to . I guess nobody’s perfect .
