Remember Dialup?

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Not trying to negatively effect your noggin,

Using technology but never been a boffin.

The net is vast, upload, download and overload,

Certain individuals looking to crack the code.

Showing my age, do you remember dialup?

Broadband in its infancy like a tiny black pup.

Remember dial up remember punch cards, remember black and white TV, remember when it was only radio. Don't remember smoke signals. Good write

Shaun, I connect with this more than I expected. I remember that transition vividly…waiting, listening, learning as we went. Showing our age, sure, but those early days shaped how we still approach the digital world. Back then it wasn’t just the tech though…it was the spiked egg nog affecting my noggin. Made the waiting more fun…led to other problems! 😂 It is what it is. Anywho, well done! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Weird, weird times. And, as the Joker said in Dark Knight, "Whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stranger." Truth! And here....we...are.Weirdville heading to Weirderville. What can one do...but continue writing. LOL!
