Trust in me

Mutley Ravishes

The other day,

As Boa was slithering

Along the narrow way

He came across an exhausted

Monkey with a silk scarf in its hands

Trying to sand

Down a mountain

"What are you up to?"

Asked Boa

"I`m changing the world!"

Replied the monkey

"You dumbass," thought Boa secretly

"Here`s an opportunity

To put him out of his misery

I`ll give him a squeeze, and feed

Myself too!"

Later on, Boa carried on

The way and came across

A man sitting on a rock

Nonchalantly polishing a sword

With its blade pointed toward

His own center of gravity

"It must be Manjushri!"

Thought Boa

"What are you up to?"

Asked Boa

"I`m changing my world, fella!"

Replied Manjushri

And the fooler becomes the fooled nicely done

    • Mutley Ravishes

Boa was as wise as a serpent when he came across monkey, and gentle as a dove when he came across Manjushri. I feel another rhyme coming on! Thanks for dropping by.

        You are most welcome

      • Friendship

Your poem explores the contrasting perspectives on change and self-improvement, as embodied by the Boa, the monkey, and Manjushri. While the monkey's futile attempt to "change the world" highlights an absurdity in his efforts, Manjushri's approach of changing his own world suggests a more introspective and personal journey toward transformation.
