spring verse

jim56

soon it will be spring when flowers start to grow
time for warmer weather gone now has the snow
crocus and the daffodils pop from underground
tulips and snowdrops growing all all around

trees that were bare begin to bud once more
to replace the leaves that were there before
sun begins to shine to brighten up the day
there to let us know spring is on the way

np i realized it was for me despite the mix up.. it's ok - i commit many more bloopers - directly addressing people by wrong names sometimes, then realize my mistake within a second of uttering - but damage has been done, though the other side is gracious..

William Carlos Williams once said something like:

                      there is spring, only spring
