In the Circle

cully45

Rippling water can cause confusion

Even Ducks can get disillusioned

As the water goes round and round

Making nary a single sound

He gently glides with the waters flow

As round and round he seems to go

Will he get dizzy, or have no problems at all

Or just enjoying his whirlpool squall

He seems at ease, no panic ensues

Maybe like his reflection, enjoys the views

Despite his predicament he looks well at ease

Enjoying his situation in the noon-time breeze

A few quick quacks to let everyone know

That he’s just enjoying himself on the water below

No doubt he will move on to another part of the pool

To fall asleep somewhere quiet and cool
