From the body
that holds
from the mind
that soars
often I witness
the lopsided me
‘my miseries hanging one side
the other managing its life
from a broken leg
to a broken tooth
from a broken smile
to a broken whole
connecting the events
are ambitions
from broken window panes
scatters the rain
the ceiling it drips
telling its own takes
while the broken me
‘writes its broken destiny
from a lopsided
mind
To a bent smile
From headache mornings
to passing time
yet another deadline
Broken sleeps
telling its own caffeine
laces the excel sheets
from a lopsided life
to a broken faith
we await wires , that connect
