The one thing we spend and never get back whether spent wrong or right; is the precious gift of one’s time. The moments spent together through good times and in grief? Both are spent wisely as this leads to Faith and belief. Time spent trying to help another lost soul? This too is spent wisely as it teaches you when and where you need to let go. The treasured memories of time spent with family and friend? Each comes with its own hidden lessons. Time spent in silence with the one you love? Teaches you the power of a higher love. Wasted time? This teaches where you need discipline. Where is found? Only when you turn to Him. Time spent remaining where you no longer belong or fit in? A tough but important life lesson. We are told how short time is when we are young. Never fully grasping its truth. So you stay on the road you’re on as you think you have time later to have that talk or do the things you want to do. Sometimes we’re told we must hurry and keep busy. This comes with its own hidden consequences soon you will see. Time spent running from the pain you carry inside? That’s time not spent wisely; I know; this I even tried. The most important currency spent that you can never get back; Time; spend it wisely; with those you hold dear; with God; there’s nothing wrong with that.

Good write KP. I waste a terrible amount of time with KP and her botox antics. lol.
A wonderful poem with a wise message that all would do well to listen to and employ. Well done
GenXer, this reads like lived wisdom spoken plainly. Thereβs a steady, grounded urgency here that doesnβt scoldβ¦it invites reflection. It stayed with me. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
