Under water

Niko Papadatos

Blurred my vision has become.
I open these eyes to no avail, I fail.
I see not, looking intently at everything outlined by their,
shallow, fragile,
looming glooming prunings.

Slowly do I start to see it all,

right there, belonging to their space afar from my affairs,

death yet again sing its song of glory,

So long my friend, foe or friend, foe or friend,

I have reached my end.
