Ants of the Universe

Creator of Mystery

Notice of absence from Creator of Mystery
Hello everyone, I will be unable to post anything as my younger cousin broke my computer.

We have all done it before, drawing circles around ants

crushing a line of ants to watch them scatter in fear

finding enjoyment in torture

thoughtless and without mercy

but what if that is all we are to the universe?

it toys with us, thinks nothing of it

but it does the same as us

just hunting the ants of their world.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I feel as though our world is but an ant hill, some shall crush it, others break the lines to watch the scatter, they make a maze, they crush us, all things that we do ourselves, the fear of us is the same as the fear of ants, running from death.

An interesting thought, why would we think that a power greater than us would have values better than ours.

i do feel like a tortured ant, sometimes, but i'd like to imagine the universe is kind. which is probably very foolish 🙂

    great concept, thanks for sharing!

Its not foolish, though the world may be cruel, it sometimes is not. We must have balance, without darkness, you would see no light.

actually the universe is trying to help you, guide you to letting the ants be and not be a part of this fear-based society we live in. it is difficult to get out of one's own way--we are very conditioned to crush the ants. sorry to go on so long. I do like your poem.
