Lose

MatPie

Everyday I lose,

All over, all over

Treading lightly

Yet falling, falling

No truths to hold onto

To take a glimpse

Of what has been done

No mirror to see

That my legs gave up

Everyday I lose,

All over, all over

To myself and the world

On the verge of despair's cliff

I lose, I lose, I lose

Until there is no longer

A grip, and so—

Here we see a feeling of gradual loss of control and it gives a sense of despair and inevitability. Nicely done.
