GRANT THEM

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

Scattered moonlight
Breached the archway
Of the trees
That housed the bridge
In the silence
Of the hour
In the moments
That forgived.

A tender breeze
Caressed the face
Of the eyes
Tears frozen
Reflecting light
From their centre
Heartbeat soft
Thoughts chosen.

Falling rain
To mist the vision
Glittering stars
That held the night
Talk with quiet voices
Amongst themselves
In visions
Perpetual light.
