In shadows deep, where memories tread,
A heart once whole, now heavy with dread.
Each echo whispers your name in the night,
Haunting the dreams where love felt so right.
Fragments of laughter, like glass on the floor,
I gather them slowly, but ache for much more.
Time drips like raindrops, a slow, tender thief,
Healing feels distant, wrapped tight in my grief.
Yet hope flickers softly, a candle’s warm glow,
In the dark, I still search for the strength to let go.

This is a tough one, when you lose someone.
Letting go is always hard, and why should you let go when the memories linger each day.
