frost flurries glitter in the sunlight
beaming off the ice particles of gravel.
wet footprints stamp the canvas of white
wandering into a path of puddles I travel.
icicles melt off burgundy rooftops
dangled with dust of a chimney's charcoal.
snow tires swerve through the slush
peaking through the ivory door keyhole.
cabin fever eyes squint through the blinds
of a square window laced with heavy haze.
snow bounds in bundles of streams
thawing into the cloud of glacial gaze
