A million tomorrows

Pappy155

Hold my hand, walk with me

Touch my face, make love to me

You came to me from heaven above

My head and heart are blind with love

Never thought I’d be blessed

With the beauty and grace, you possess

A million tomorrows is what we wish

To spend our lives in peaceful bliss

But what if tomorrow is not to be

A life without you, a life without me

The love we hold, the love we share

Is all we have, this love affair

If it is true that life may end

Each day on earth then I will spend

In love with you with all my heart

So that I know when we must part

I loved you deep, I loved you true

I know in my heart, you loved me too

Quite the love poem, this one puts it all out there. Nicely done with good rhyme and flow

A really beautiful tribute to soulmates, the pain is palpable because when one is lost so is the other. Beautifully written 🌹

Thank you! And you are correct in the pain
