highs, lows, lies, stones

alexthehueman

I’ve had a lot of highs
I’ve had a lot of lows
I’ve told a lot of lies
Look at the size of my nose
But even I can grow
From out concrete like a rose

Or

weeds

imposed

I’m at the lake throwing stones

        alone

  • Comment from author about the poem: Reworking some old stuff. I tried to keep the sentiment while making it align more with my current expression. I have more coming soon.

This poem starts off with humor and ends in loneliness. Well done
