Dear Mr. Clueless,
How did you not see the love in my eyes?
How did you not hear admiration in my voice?
Dear Mr. Sadness,
I was there for you and every one of your cries
I was willing to help you but it wasn’t my choice
Dear Mr. Lost,
There was a map on my heart if you would only look
There was a lantern in my hand to guide you through the dark
Dear Mr. Past,
I’m still missing pieces of myself that you took
I’m sure that when people look at me your name is written, a glowing mark
Dear Mr. Life,
I loved you

- Comment from author about the poem: The rhyming scheme and rhythm is very off, but this is a poem that’s meant to be off-centered.
