I want a love that doesn’t run when life shows teeth,
One that stays when silence becomes a language we both have to learn.
A love that prays when words fail,
And holds my hand tighter when faith feels like a flickering bulb.
I want a woman who chooses me every day,
Not because I am perfect,
But because she sees the cracks
And believes light still lives there.
A love that corrects me in private,
Protects me in public,
And reminds me, gently
That leadership begins with listening.
I want a love that grows old with me,
Wrinkled hands, slower steps, deeper laughter.
One that knows seasons change,
But commitment is not weather.
And when the world asks what I found out there,
I want to say:
I found a home.
I found a prayer answered slowly.
I found someone who didn’t save me
But walked with me while God did.
That’s the love I’m looking for.
Not loud.
Not rushed.
Just true.

Now days those are hard to come by being on back order, sold out and no longer in production. Those that have one hold on to them and don't trade them in. Well written and nicely worded it speaks to the unity of a relationship and devotion to each other. Well done
