Hello everyone, I will be unable to post anything as my younger cousin broke my computer.
First was just my bed
my dog woke up and startled me
the bed shakes
It’s not scary yet
then goes the ground
the house tremors
things fall from walls
my pets both panic
then the danger is gone
but after the storm
it’s not always calm
as my body shakes
not with relief, from fear
pure and unfiltered fear

- Comment from author about the poem: In my area, there have been a lot of terrible earthquakes recently, and everyone is freaking out, this also helped some of my old anxiety to come back, so I wrote this poem as a quick pastime, so I would stop being so anxious.
