The miles

isa kemmy

It starts with giggles,

Whispers that chatter,

Smiles masked with pimples,

Fears  that matter,

Tears  that jiggles

I see a chapter,

Of closed  past

Pasts that matter,

Of smiles that  last,

Iasts as  we chatter,

I  see the dimple

Rising  within  smiles,

Smiles that mumble,

Hiding sadness miles

When its all a gamble

I see the smile,

Birthing memory,

Memories that we will file,

In tones of   glory

For we went a mile

A poem full of brightness and fun filled with smiles and lifted spirits. Nicely done

  • Tristan Robert Lange

Isa, this feels tender and vulnerable. There’s a quiet ache beneath the smiles, and it lingers gently. That restraint really works, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
