Honestly, I've never felt more connected with the world than when I slipped and fell on a patch of ice last week and thought my tailbone was broken

Simple Tendencies

Please verify that you are human

Click the box to let us know

That you're not a bit of software

And that your heart bleeds true

Please verify that you are human

By choosing which image reveals

A stop sign and a bus

Careening into a grocer's

Please verify that you are human

Repeat the numbers we speak

Into glazed eyes mechanically clicking

Into a spiraling countdown of code.

Please verify that you are human.

We won't send your overpriced clothes otherwise.

Unsure of the connection between your title and your verse (that's the whole point, he says - get with it!). However, you have the purchase process on the 'net at times hung drawn and quartered, and given some of my experiences there, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I love this satire on technology that has gotten to a point that one must verify that one is not a machine. Soon it will no longer be necessary because it will change to please verify that you are AI not human by computing this formula in less than a millisecond we don't want any lifeforms wearing over priced clothing on this site.
