Life

Life..things we see or hear, we pick up,

As a cup we'll consume, daily as a must,

And then your trust in...what you grown to believe,

Because of what you've heard, starts to be intrigued,

Proceed with allegations, that's wrong until,

Someone approaches you, with good news that is real,

Unreal you'll feel as proof leads and you with zeal,

The evidence, spiritual food starts to prevail,

Not a tale, but this really, truly happened to I,

To believe, to worship, to serve him, and try,

Become wise, and strong, in your friendship with him,

Then things hard to resist will start to get dim,

The old you you've forgotten, as you move with ambition,

Not by your own selfish thoughts, but with Jehovah's permission,

So now your words, we see and hear, we pick up,

And as a cup we consume it daily as a must..

Life..

  • Comment from author about the poem: Realizing the life you're currently, or once had isn't the end. You have more to your story, change your unhealthy ways, become Jehovah's friend. With open hands he'll welcome you, helping you to a better life.
