Smudged Sky

Aman 12

Sun is packing its rays,
stuffing warmth in pockets of haze.
Marmalade horizon studies the blaze,
sipping glory in a mortal's gaze.

Smudged sky spills secondhand shine
curling waves in a fire‑washed shrine.
Gauzy billows glide to patch the glow
bleeding from the hues that sink below.

My heart is set in this descent
trusting the rise of an ember-kissed crescent.
My spirit travels with an empty suitcase
carried by light to its next resting place.
