Some dreams are never foregone.
Such as dreams of a snowy white swan.
Dearie, it's been too long,
singing alone, our own song.
I've been searching all along,
Let's dance to our swansong.
Shiny shimmering white,
is the colour of light.
Containing colours of rainbow,
I see them in you, somehow.
Violet of the morning dawn,
When you spread your wings to yawn
Indigo and the purple hue,
as you step on the morning dew.
Green is the deeper reflection
in an emerald green lake of affection.
Yellow of the the mustard field,
a shiny, happy look that you yield.
Orange hue of the marigold,
lovely feelings in your fold.
Red of courage and passion
It was your first impression.
A white pearl of dew
has rays of of rainbow hue
Shining in the blue summer skies,
Like a twinkle in your dark eyes.
Dearie, it's been too long,
singing alone, our own song.
I've been searching all along,
Let's dance to our swansong.
Some dreams are never foregone.
Such as dreams of a snowy white swan.
