Exhausted Autumn by Kirill Sveriin

Ksey_Gan

Was it a vision or a dream?

That Autumn walked alone.

But God, how much she’s slim:

Her gait and eyes so  outworn!

Struck by the unexpected encounter,

I mercilessly noted in a moment,

How the sky weighed down her shoulders,

And the oval of her face had darkened.

How unpleasantly she has grown fat

And become heavy as a small elephant,

And how silver gray hair has managed

To sprout through the henna coat.

Restraining ourselves, we didn't look back,

But I still managed to notice untold,

How Autumn smiled sadly, as wreck  -

It seems, and I too have grown old.

Перекрестье двух дорог -

Справа ангел, слева бог,

Впереди - тупик и рай,

Чего хочешь выбирай.

Или все наоборот
