What We Build Together

GeekSusie

In the hush of morning light,
I watch the bees begin their rounds—
each one a whisper with wings,
a promise with purpose.

They do not question the bloom
or the path from hive to heart.
They simply give and take,
each sip a silent prayer of trust.

In the soft hum of their labor,
I hear our life—
you and I in quiet orbit,
touching petals, bringing sweetness home.

What would a flower be,
without the bee?
What would I be,
without you?

We make this world in tiny ways—
kiss by kiss, chore by chore,
the honey of community
gathered in the stillness of love.
