The unspoken

Sami Mulaj

THE UNSPOKEN...

The sad without witness,

What I said and what was said to me,

Let them remain locked

In a chest with a key

Forever.

There will be less noise

From the flies that grow

In decay.

There will be less stinging scent

In life's corridor,

Emptied of the spoken,

That, with face turned back,

Hold the man.

Clever and self defining this poem sends its message in what is not said rather that what is. Its message powerful and unspoken. There seem layers in this poem and clues for one I am not sure whether scent or sent were meant. Very nicely done a fave
