Gentle Heart

My Boy Ryngkhlem

Why does the heart feel so much,

Break so easy, yet long for touch?

It holds on, even through pain,

Gives and gives, time and again?

It wasn’t made to turn to stone,

Wasn’t meant to shut others away.

It hurts, it mends, it learns,

And even so, it loves anyway.
