The Eases of Living

Demar Desu

There’s so much to love

I am still alive and I’m able to speak

I can’t be afraid to talk about love

It’s what I feel on the inside

there’s so much love too

truly maybe to much to speak about

but a four letter word

can connect us more than hate

there’s so much to love…

Here I go….

people

animals

plants

water

air

art

food

ideas

tools

computers

video games

books

music

oceans

warmth

baths

showers

cleanliness

creativity

acknowledgements

passions

vehicles

clothes

bed

tea

pillows

me

neighbors

museums

chairs

sports

unity

people…I think I said that already

maybe I love too much

but God created everything

so everything is worthy of love

but see I usually complain

the world isn’t perfect… i wish for it

still… thank you…. I love you

Demar, this is tender and honest, my friend. From the simple act of breathing and speaking to the overflowing list of what you love, the poem keeps choosing gratitude even while acknowledging wonderfully written. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ
