The silent ghost
In alcove swaying
My muttering lips
A prayer is saying
Begone you ghoul
Away this evening
No reply from darkness
Baying.
Eye sockets blank
Deep and threatening
No sign of life
Just fear fetching
My heartbeat rapid
Soul is shaking
In this horror
Moment quaking.
All thats good
And in light shining
Save me please
From darkness prying
The heavy clock
At midnight trapped
The alcove ghost
A spirit rasps.
