Lucky is the Man

adventuressmalik

Lucky is the man;

he is truly blessed.

They say he's lucky

as she has a face so fair.

A summer of delight

dancing in her hair.

But seasons change

as winter comes to call,

and beauty fades

like leaves that fall.

They say he's lucky

whose woman is rich,

he loves the comfort

and ignores the glitch.

Such a wealth is

just a hollow weight,

it cannot buy the soul,

a happy fate.

They say he's lucky

as she bows and obeys,

a silent shadow

even in darkest days.

A follower can’t light

the fire inside,

or turn the current

of the rising tide.

They say he’s unlucky

if her gaze begins to roam,

looking for friends

when she should be home.

Her options open,

the hearts will burn,

as she leaves him standing,

at point of no return.

But lucky is the man,

he is truly blessed,

Who finds a Woman

different from the rest.

A love that doesn’t bind,

but sets him free,

To be the person

he was born to be.

It exonerates the heart,

it clears the way,

It elevates the spirit

each passing day.

Oh, lucky is the man

who can find,

A love so rare,

so subtle and benign.

She is a participant,

and not a passenger,

the bearer of truth,

not a messenger.

A friend in the thick,

steady rock in the thin,

she knows how to fight

and how to win.

Her beauty is inner,

her soul at peace.

her words and action

put everyone at ease.

As actions speak,

louder than the words,

she soars above,

soft and delicate birds.

She upholds her image

with dignity and grace,

as a timeless anchor,

of the human race.

She walks beside him,

strong and true,

There is no limit

to what he can do.

 She becomes the mother,

with affections deep,

fulfilling the promises

that were hers to keep.

She flourishes the branch

of the family tree,

Nourishing the future,

one day the world will see.

Let the elation start,

let the spirit shine,

He may celebrate

his true Valentine.

Lucky is the man;

he is truly blessed.

Who finds a true woman

different from the rest.
