A Sip Against Forgetting
Hatred,
a barren desert;
and love,
a sip of water in that desert
that
either saves,
or awakens
a slumbering thirst,
ancient and aching.
جرعهای علیه فراموشی
،تنفر
بیابانی برهوت؛
،و عشق
جرعهای آب در آن بیابان
که
،یا نجاتبخش است
یا بیدار میکند
،تشنگیِ خفتهای
