First sight, deep love

Algendhir

I remember

It was in December

Near the embers

I fell in love

In a state of panic

Inside, I was manic

This feeling, so tyrannical

I was hooked

As our eyes locked

I was so shocked

Completely knocked

So deep into you

As we parted

I was downhearted

It had just started

Yet we had to say goodbye

Wishing stronger

To linger

A little longer

In your mind that night.

A wonderfully woven pattern of rhyme, rhythm, meter in this poem that carries a romantic message as well. It is charming in the way it unfolds and a fave

True love and the memories.of. eyes meeting,.lips softly kissing,.hands lost in feeling and a mind of a.lost sense of everything else except the other person. Lost ilike a beating heart of desire and want. These are the reactions of falling in love. Your poem was a really good 👍
