Notice of absence from raman selvaraj

The Kurinji land holds mountains and caves,
Carving homes in hills, finding shelter there.
Sculpting statues across the peaks,
Painting murals, nurturing thoughts profound!Hearing echoes, shaping sounds into form,
Cultivating ideas, crafting letters anew,
He nurtured Tamil, preserved its culture true!Religions flourished, Jainism stood firm.
Chittannavasal bears history's proof.
Saivism arrived, temples were born.
He revered ponds, tanks, and village folk!Change alone is unchanging, they say,
So Tamil evolved, Tamils transformed too.
Mullai, Marudam, Neydal, Palai—
Communities arose, and Tamil grew evermore! The Kurinji land holds mountains and caves,
The landscape that fills the heart with joy!!

This is a beautiful poem of a land and culture foreign to me. Very nicely done in great images
Thanks, thanks indeed !!
What do you make of whitman?
Historically barbarous, religious fanatics that were heretics, egocentric and basically pirates. The same as everyone else on earth. You are most welcome
